UCSIA Winter School

Interdisciplinary winter school on European solidarity at the University of Antwerp for master's and doctoral students in collaboration with the Antwerp Summer & Winter School.

From 3 to 7 February 2025, UCSIA and Antwerp Summer & Winter University are organising the first interdisciplinary UCSIA Winter School for final-year master’s and doctoral students who want to further explore the concept of European solidarity. This first edition examines European solidarity the global context of international migration.

Migration Challenging Solidarity? Utopian and Dystopian Visions

In February 2025, UCSIA will launch a new winter school on European solidarity. The focus of this first edition is migration. In the build-up to this winter school, we organise a lunch discussion (in English) led by Pascal Debruyne with Nathalie Dens, Milena Belloni, Benoît Dhondt and Helga Corvers in which we explore our panelists' utopian and dystopian visions on migration.
