She obtained her PhD from KU Leuven and the Royal Military Academy with a dissertation on moral responsibility for autonomous weapon systems.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26b2ed8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"26b2ed8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Her research focuses on the <strong>use of AI in the military domain<\/strong>, with particular attention to the ethical and legal challenges surrounding autonomous systems and AI in defence. Working at the intersection of AI, ethics, defence and law, she advises on AI and defence policy. After obtaining his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher and visiting lecturer at the same university.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e96ed27 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e96ed27\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since August 2026, Robin has been working as a researcher at the Flemish Peace Institute.
