Are you looking for an inspiring venue for your meeting or event? The UCSIA House offers three beautiful rooms suitable for a variety of meetings.
The Manresa Room
A multipurpose conference room, perfect for receptions, lectures and larger meetings.
The Pilgrim Room
Ideal for (hybrid) meetings with modern facilities for groups of up to 16 people.
The Utopia Room
Ideal for (hybrid) meetings with modern facilities for groups of up to 8 people.
The Studio
Our podcast studio offers a professional recording space for up to four speakers.
Location
The UCSIA House is located at Koningstraat 2, in the heart of the lively student district and opposite the city campus of the University of Antwerp.
Accessibility
A lift is available. All rooms are fully wheelchair accessible and adapted sanitary facilities are also provided.

The Manresa Room
A multipurpose room, perfect for receptions, lectures and larger meetings.
Manresa is the name of a Spanish town near Barcelona. It is the place where Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order, went through a spiritual transformation in 1523.

The Pelgrim Room
Ideal for (hybrid) meetings with modern facilities for groups of up to 16 people.
The room owes its name to the Antwerp art society De Pelgrim, an influential circle of artists from the interbellum period. This society was committed to the revival of religious and symbolist community art in Flanders. Well-known members include Felix Timmermans and Jozef Peeters.
Their work received extra attention in 2023 during the Antwerp city festival Baroque Influencers – an initiative of UCSIA and the University of Antwerp – on the influence of Baroque masters on later generations of artists.
The name of the venue reflects this artistic and spiritual quest, and links historical inspiration and contemporary gatherings.

The Utopia Room
Ideal for (hybrid) meetings with modern facilities for groups of up to 8 people.
The Utopia Room is named after ‘Utopia’, Thomas More’s famous work in which he outlines a society based on equality, justice and community spirit. These ideals align closely with UCSIA’s mission to contribute to social justice and social reflection.

The Studio
Ready to let your voice be heard? Our podcast studio offers a professional recording environment for up to four speakers.
The studio is equipped with a TASCAM Mixcast 4, four dynamic microphones and four pairs of headphones — everything is ready to get started right away.
Please bring an SD card (min. 64 GB) or a laptop with you to export your recordings.
The set-up is very intuitive and easy to operate yourself. There will be no sound engineer present.

We have got you covered! You will present your research in the historic Manresa Room. The jury will deliberate in the comfort of the Utopia Room. And in the meantime, we will provide catering in the Pilgrim Room.

Rates
Included in the price:
- Set-up and take-down 1 hour before and after the activity. Rooms booked are accessible and available at that time.
- Support of 1 event coordinator throughout the duration of the activity in the Manresa Room.
- Use of available materials, including audiovisual materials.
For activities longer than 10 hours, there is an additional charge of €45 per hour started.
On Saturdays, there is a 50% surcharge, on Sundays it is a 100% surcharge.
These rates do not include VAT.
