SLIDE
Coordinated by UCSIA and carried out in partnership with ten European higher education institutions (2022–2024), SLIDE intertwined Service-Learning and Digital Empowerment to foster inclusion and diversity. Students, academics and community partners collaborated in learning pathways where all participants acted as learners, experts and co-creators.
Outputs & impact
Among its key outputs were an international social hackathon, where multidisciplinary student teams developed digital solutions to real societal challenges, and an open-access MOOC enabling students to strengthen their digital competences within a Service-Learning framework, with a strong focus on inclusion and civic engagement.
