100 years of social protection with the International Labour Organization

From the 18th until the 23rd of March you can discover an exhibition on social protection at the University Library of the University of Antwerp. The exhibition “100 years of social protection with the International Labour Organization” depicts the creation and development of social protection systems around the world since 1919, when the International Labour Organization (ILO) was founded. The expo is part of a wider campaign to achieve universal social protection by 2030.

The ILO is the only tripartite agency of the United Nations. It brings together representatives of governments, workers and employers from 187 member states. This year, the ILO celebrates its centenary.
