De donuteconomie van de hoop

The Challenge of the Donut Economy

webinar series (in Dutch)

With the webinar series “The Challenge of a Doughnut Economy. From an Autonomous Market to an Embedded Economy”, Broederlijk Delen, the Chair Economy of Hope and UCSIA, in collaboration with De Transformisten, present three webinars in which we delve into the roles of the market, the community economy and the state. We first analyze the limits of an autonomous market, and then explore the community economy as a complement and alternative. In the final synthesis webinar, we will explore what new relationship between the market and the state can be established to help realize the challenge of a doughnut economy.

Throughout three Thursday evenings – December 9 & 16, 2021 and January 20, 2022 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. – we will have innovative entrepreneurs/politicians, speakers from civil society, academics from various universities and students speak. We will allow time for you to actively participate in the dialogue.

Can a renewed relationship between the market, stakeholders and government be established? What exactly is that, an embedded economy? And how exactly does the community economy offer a valid alternative? Find out together with us in the following three webinars for which you can also register separately.
