Book presentation of The Discovery of China. The Adventure of Ferdinand Verbiest (Pelckmans), written by VRT journalist Veerle De Vos. The author will introduce the book and then discuss it with sinologists Mario Cams (University of Oslo/KU Leuven) and Dorien Emmers (KU Leuven).
This lecture is part of the “Big Questions” series on past and present issues, which UCSIA is programming for the city festival Baroque Influencers.
